Volunteers
Hospice volunteers play an important role in the compassionate care of patients and families who are dealing with terminal illness. Their selfless availability offers moments of respite for caregivers by spending time as the patient’s friendly companion. They regard the terminally ill as approachable individuals with value and dignity. Our volunteers at Gifted Hearts Hospice and Palliative Care help the families and the medical team foster a positive, supportive atmosphere.
